Customer feedback echoes the warmth of the cafe ambiance and the stellar service. Josefa Bravo praised the strawberry matcha and artichoke croissant, highlighting their delicious flavor. No review of Chezest would be complete without mentioning the pastries, a true highlight of the cafe. With croissants deemed the best across Australia (even if Melbourne fans might contest that), each baked good is a testament to their commitment to craftsmanship. The inviting scent of freshly baked goods and the visually appealing displays make it impossible to resist a little indulgence.

I tried the strawberry matcha with almond milk and an artichoke croissant (vegetarian option) , and both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!"

Chezest Cafe is a cozy spot with great options. Fresh peppermint tea was lovely, the lemon danish was amazing, and the flat white was solid. The BLT on a baguette was decent, though the bacon wasn’t crispy. The croissant didn’t quite live up to expectations. Arrived early, but lunch reservations seem smart—several tables were already reserved. A charming place worth visiting!

We had breakfast there, which was enjoyable. The eggs and the fruit danish were the highlights, while the salmon was just decent. Overall, it’s a charming place with good options for a fair breakfast.

Hands down the best croissant I’ve tasted in Australia so far (well, Melbourne still wins hahah!). The baguette was just average but generously stuffed. i don’t like the almond latte, but I’ll absolutely come back for the croissants!

I always love visiting Chezest Cafe while I am in Cairns. Friendly service. Fresh delicious food. Enjoyed corn + zucchini fritters

First time visit, had breakfast with my partner. Nice mild coffee and speedy service, seasonal special matcha latte was so good, was a proper matcha from Kyoto. The food tastes really good, no complaints. However, the hot food didn't feel freshly cooked, like katsu and steak was kind of warm and looked a bit dry. We guessed they may have some ingredients ready to go in a food warmer, considering the quick serving time. The price was not reasonable but a bit high pricing so for that reason 4 stars. If the deepfry and steak were freshly cooked, definitely 5 star on food!

Nice cafe with indoor and outdoor seating area. The coffees were on point. The pastries looked so delicious. Unfortunately didn’t get to taste any of them. The cafe has a nice ambience and I would definitely return here.

The best breakfast I have in Cairns! The soufflé pancake was delicious and beautiful. The prawn tempura and chips was so fresh but not enough. Coffee wasn’t great. However, we will still go back for food again.
